Live Phish 14 - 10/31/95

One of the most rocking Phish shows in history! The Who's "Quadrophenia" is certainly an ambitious choice of album to cover, not to mention the rigor of making it through the nearly two hours of music that make up that record. Trey relishes Pete Townsend's crashing guitars, Fishman exerts to the fullest on Keith Moon's drum tactics, there's plenty of unweildy John Entwistle bass lines for Mike to ponder, and a ton of beautiful songs for Page to sing. Phish does a fantastic job, not only with "Quadrophenia" but with two more sets of intensity that features a readicculus "Icculus" opener, a cataclysmic "Antelope", and a version of "You Enjoy Myself" that goes well over 30 minutes. Includes Dave Grippo, Don Glasgow, and more on horns.
